  13. in your startup folder while your hard drive grinds itself to dust?  
  14. I got tired of waiting and wrote this little program.  Like its name 
  15. implies, it runs any program you want, but only runs it once per day.  
  16. Why would you run a program only once per day?  It depends on the 
  17. program and how you use it.  I found that I only needed to run my 
  18. PIM ( to check for appointments first thing each day )  and my 
  19. eMail program only once.  You might also want to run a virus check 
  20. once per day or a backup.  It couldn't be any faster or easier.

  24. There are many other slideshow programs.  I wrote this one 
  25. because I wanted my Windows desktop wallpaper to be the slideshow.  
  26. Thats right, you can run this program, point it at any directory 
  27. containing BMP pictures, and watch your desktop come alive!  Don't 
  28. stare at the same boring desktop anymore.  Scan pictures of your 
  29. kids, your pets, etc.  You can set how long each picture is 
  30. displayed, from one second to one hour.  The program will also 
  31. display pictures in a small thumnail or in a separate window if 
  32. you don't want them to go to the desktop.

  39. Secretly run this program on your friends machine.

  41. is no icon or window while it is running.  Then go to your machine

  43. program, any program on his harddrive, any time you want?  I put it 
  44. on a friends PC and ran solitaire just when his boss stepped in to 
  45. talk to him (his boss was in on the joke).  You should have seen his 
  46. face! Display a message box anytime you want, and YOU get to type 
  47. the message.  Reverse his mouse buttons?  Sure, why not.  Many other 
  48. features not listed.   Just hope he doesn't get this program before you do.

  65.    online help.  This Quick Start is to get you started with 
  66.    minimal fuss.  For detailed help, just click the 'Help' button

  69.    1) Run MNFind.
  70.    2) In the 'Search Set' listbox -
  71.          click once on the entry 'Windows Ini Files'.
  72.    3) In the 'What to Report' area -
  73.      click on the 'Files containing string' radio button.  
  74.    4) In the 'What to search for' edit box - 
  75.      type '386' (without the quotes).
  76.    5) Click the 'Search' button.

  79.    You should be looking at the Files containing string '386' dialog.
  80.    You might see several files listed in the listbox.  One of these
  81.    is hopefully the file 'System.Ini'.  Click on that entry once and
  82.    then click on the 'Show/Hide' button.  You can also just double 
  83.    click on the entry to perform the 'Show/Hide' function.  You 
  84.    should now see a list of all the lines in the system.ini file 
  85.    that contain the text '386'.  Once you have found a line of text 
  86.    that you wanted, you might then want to view/edit that file to 
  87.    see other lines or be able to cut and paste the line.  Just click
  88.    once on the filename and then click the 'Edit File' button, or 
  89.    just double click any line of text under the filename line.
